Wema is a new food concept that opened in March 2018 in the neighbourhood of Nea Ionia in Athens. An ambassador of food goodness and healthy eating, Wema redefines the lunchbreak by preparing awesome food with respect to the holistic effects of nutrition. On the menu you'll find wellness-conscious dishes that are full of tastiness and pure goodness, "as nature intended".

busybuilding designed the overall identity, packaging and menus for Wema, inspired by its noble mission to prepare exceptionally healthy food and inspire people to choose a healthier lifestyle. The logo consists of just the brand name designed as a stencil, so that it can be easily used on packaging, signage and communication tools easily and in eco-friendly ways. The colour palette is earthy and natural, as a reference to the brand name's African origins and its mission to promote a healthy, natural lifestyle.

For the restaurant's menu, busybuilding collaborated with Wema founders to name all dishes and structure the menu in sections. Since the menu brochure is one of the restaurant's main communication tools, it has been carefully designed to convey the brand's philosophy and ethos, combined with inspirational food photography created in collaboration with Dimitris Poupalos. The tone of voice is fun, humorous and friendly, encouraging customers to join the Wema movement!
