Diem

Cretans are proud of their island, their diet and their drinking skills. The new cretan tsikoudia Diem is a drink as powerful and punchy as its name. The youngest sister of premium cretan tsikoudia Zore Zalo, Diem is addressing a younger, urban audience that is not used to drinking a traditional spirit when they go our on a Saturday night. We gave Diem a sleek look to make it attractive to this younger demographic, and enable it to stand comfortably behind the bar counter next to other more popular drinks. We chose the name because it has a nice ring to it and brings to mind the phrase βcarpe diemβ, reminding the drinker to live his life to the fullest. The design is super minimal, with the product name written vertically on the front using a font that brings graphic novels and street art to mind. We made sure that all information on the bottle is printed on just the right angle so that it appears completely transparent when seen from the front. Traditional island drinking has never looked so lit.
