WCAG 2.0 (Level AA)

Even if you love Beyoncé more than your privacy, you already know that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that the EU adopted two years ago is finally coming into effect on 25 May 2018. This is a new set of regulations that are here to safeguard people’s privacy and ensure that businesses and institutions handling personal data will treat them with transparency and the highest possible degree of security. You can learn more on this portal on the subject in Greek or this short video in English.

As part of our commitment to privacy and security for our partners and staff, busybuilding has done the best in its power and knowledge to comply with the new regulation. We have updated our privacy and cookie policies on our website in a timely manner and have added a more detailed subscription form for our mailing list in the Contact section of our website. Whatever personal data we collect from our subscribers is for communication purposes only and we won’t sell, share or distribute your email to anyone without your explicit consent.

We are glad that the EU is finally realising a much-needed legal framework for protecting people’s data. We think that this new set of regulations will raise the bar internationally in how companies collect and use data from their clients and users. The GDPR has ironically caused the largest spam torrent in the history of the internet; but as soon as the commotion subsides, the internet will be much safer and transparent for all. busybuilding will keep creating great websites and ensure that they meet all necessary requirements for privacy and security in their design, just as the new regulation dictates.

We would also like to thank you for updating your email subscription preferences with us. If you haven’t done so already, please seek our message in your inbox to confirm your subscription (our email might have landed in your spam folder). Alternatively, you can re-subscribe using our Contact page and we will remove any double emails manually.
